PRE-CONFERENCE PRESENTATION, 7 P.M. FRIDAY, NOV. 7, AT AUDITORIUM, STUDENT EDUCATION CENTER, DES MOINES UNIVERSITY, 3300 GRAND AVE., DES MOINES —

FROM EAST AND NORTH:  At the northeast edge of Des Moines, I-80 and I-35 join and go west around the city while I-235 goes through Des Moines.  Take I-235 west for about six miles to the 31st St. exit, which is past the downtown area.  You will see a sign that says “Exit 6, Drake University.”  Exit I-235 at 31 St. and turn left on 31st St.  Go Turn right on Grand Ave.  Turn left onto Des Moines University driveway at 3200 Grand Ave.  Drive around buildings to parking lot at center of complex, away from Grand Ave.  Entrance is marked “Student Education Center.”

FROM SOUTH AND WEST:  At the southwest edge of Des Moines, I-80 and I-35 join and go east around the city while I-235 goes through Des Moines.  Take I-235 east to the 42nd St. exit in Des Moines.  Be sure you have passed the 63rd St. exit.  Exit at 42nd St. and turn right (south).  Travel approximately three blocks on 31st St. to the stoplight at Grand Ave.  Turn left on Grand Ave.  Go eight blocks, then turn right on Des Moines University entrance at 3400 Grand Ave.  Drive around buildings to parking lot at center of complex, away from Grand Ave.  Entrance marked “Student Education Center.”
