Speak Up!! is Cool Planet’s new program to help train climate solutions leaders! This will be a Level 2 session for graduates of the Speak Up! level 1 training. We’ll hear from fellow Speak Up! grads and further our skills by working with Craig and Patricia Neal from the Heartland Circle and authors of “The Art of Convening”
The purpose of Speak Up!! is to give ordinary citizens of all ages the tools they need to be effective leaders of a Climate Solutions Movement in their neighborhood, school, faith community, civic organization, business and family.
The level 2 training is a workshop on Creating Essential Conversations
-Hear from current SPEAK UP!! activators
– Create confidence to present SPEAK UP!! conversations around the current climate
crisis.
-Learn practical principles and techniques to convene conversations for action.
-Learn to build community, create and practice your personal delivery and HAVE
FUN!!
The next training will be on Sunday January 15th, from 2 to 5 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2730 E 31st St Minneapolis, MN 55406. A tuition fee of $10-25 to Cool Planet-ECF is requested and no one committed to Speak Up!! will be turned away due to financial reasons.
